My ministry officially began at Bethesda UMC in Swedesboro on July 1st, 2007. Previously I served appointments in Whiting, Pennsauken, Blue Anchor, Winslow and Elm. My wife Sherri and I were married on June 5, 1971 and we have two married daughters. Our oldest, Megan Michelle, is married to Aaron Atkinson, and they are the parents of our 4 year old grandson, Joshua. Our youngest daughter, Brittany Lynn, is married to Rev. Joseph Fulk, III.
I am a second career pastor, having worked as a purchasing agent for RMP in Pennsauken, prior to being called o the ministry at age 34. Recently, we celebrated 25 years of pastoral ministry.
In 1967, I graduated from Glouceste City High School and served an active tour of duty with the Naval Reserves on board the U.S.S. Bryce Canyon AD-36. Upon my return from the Navy I attended Camden County College and Glassboro State College where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in History. I thought I wanted to be a teacher - GOD thought otherwise - and in 1990, graduated from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Sherri and I truly feel blessed as we serve our Risen Savior among the people of Swedesboro. We can sincerely attest to the fact that GOD IS GOOD - ALL THE TIME!!!!
